Best if planted in full sun and watered occasionally. They can tolerate light shade and low water conditions. It can also be trained up as a small tree. It is very drought tolerant once established. Hardy in zones 8 to 11, but can be grown in containers to be enjoyed on a sunny patio or balcony and brought inside to a sunny spot for the winter. These are growing in 3.5-inch, deep pots.
