Currà 2020 toont diepe aroma’s van rode bes, gedroogde bloemen, citruszeste en kruiden, met een energieke, lineaire structuur. De tannines zijn stevig maar verfijnd, en de wijn heeft een indrukwekkende lengte en complexiteit.

Vinificatie.
Na manuele oogst volgt spontane fermentatie met lange schilweking voor maximale aromatische extractie. De wijn rijpt 24 maanden in barriques, met daarna ongeveer 12 maanden flesrijping, wat de structuur verfijnt en de elegantie versterkt.

Het domein.
Currà is een hooggelegen wijngaard met kalkrijke bodems. De natuurlijke aanpak van Sottimano — lage interventie, biodiversiteit, natuurlijke fermentatie en langdurige houtopvoeding — leidt tot een klassieke, langlevende Barbaresco met grote precisie.
