Clare Lydon does it again. The inclusion of the royal family dynamics combined with the use of infamous landmarks like Balmoral Castle and Buckingham Palace were exquisite. The storyline of the footballer, Ashleigh so authentic to England and princess, Victoria, so believable. I loved the characters portrayed whether Ash’s friends or the Queen Mother. They were just perfection. I loved this story. Great job.

Clare Lyndon has just given us a treat in the form of a coming out, royals, and a footie World Cup! Wow! I loved this book so much! I've been a pro tennis fan since I was a little kid, so I put this book on my TBR the moment I saw it. However, had I known about the supernatural soulmate/soulmark element (first time I've ever heard of that trope) I would have moved it to the top of the pile IMMEDIATELY. Now I can't wait to read more, both in that trope and from this author. A great debut, and I can't wait to read future books from this writer!
