This model introduced in 2012 at Basel World became a sure fan amongst watch enthusiasts who prefer a pared-down watch that speaks to design over complications. The 114060 has a stainless-steel case that is 40mm in diameter with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and winding crown. The bezel is a unidirectional rotatable bezel that is made of scratch-resistant ceramic with numerals and graduations coated in platinum. The dial is black with signature Rolex 18-carat gold hour markers and Mercedes Steel hands. The 114060 is powered by the self-winding 3130 caliber that has a power reserve of 48 hours. The case is paired with a stainless-steel oyster bracelet with a fold-over clasp. It has a water resistance of 300 meters (1,000 feet).
