This package from Dynomite Diesel includes components to allow fueling to either 3,000 RPM or 4,000 RPM, depending on the springs you install. While all 12 valves can benefit from these springs, manual transmission trucks will especially notice a difference between gears, as these will not allow the fueling to drop off so hard when shifting, making the transition much smoother.
Dynomite Diesel most recommends installing the 4,000 springs into a 215 or modified 180 pump. With the 4K springs, it is also recommended to install heavy duty valve springs. Further, you should check your fuel supply pressure at wide open throttle with use of the 4K springs, and you should maintain 20PSI or greater at all times.
