High-voltage MPPT charging for demanding off-grid systems

Designed for serious solar installations, this Victron MPPT controller efficiently converts higher PV voltage into usable charging current for your battery bank. The 150V PV input headroom supports longer panel strings, helping reduce cable losses and improve layout flexibility across caravans, cabins, marine builds and remote industrial sites. With 45A charging capacity and a proven Victron control platform, it’s a strong choice when you want stable charging performance across varying weather and load conditions.

Faster tracking for better harvest in changing conditions

Solar conditions rarely stay constant—passing cloud, heat and partial shading can cause rapid changes in panel output. Victron’s ultra-fast MPPT technology continuously tracks the optimum operating point, which can improve energy harvest compared with PWM controllers and slower MPPT designs (performance gains depend on conditions and array design). For installations where panels experience intermittent shading—roof racks, rigging, antennas, trees or nearby structures—the controller’s advanced maximum power point detection is built to avoid getting “stuck” on a sub-optimal point and keep charging more consistently.

High efficiency, passive cooling and real-world reliability

With a peak conversion efficiency above 98%, more of your solar energy is delivered to the battery rather than wasted as heat. The unit is fanless and uses a substantial heat sink for passive cooling, reducing moving parts and simplifying installation in enclosed electrical bays. It’s engineered to deliver strong performance at elevated ambient temperatures, with protective power derating when required to support long-term reliability in Australian conditions.

Flexible charging profiles for different battery chemistries

Charging requirements vary significantly between battery types. This controller offers a fully programmable charge algorithm plus multiple preset profiles selectable via the rotary switch, making it suitable for a wide range of lead-acid and other supported battery setups. An internal temperature sensor helps compensate absorption and float voltages, supporting healthier charging when temperatures swing between hot engine bays, coastal climates and cold inland nights.

Protection features that reduce common installation risks

Off-grid electrical systems need robust protection against wiring errors and harsh operating conditions. The controller includes electronic protections such as over-temperature management, PV short-circuit protection, PV reverse polarity protection and reverse current protection. These features help reduce the chance of damage from common faults and make commissioning and maintenance more straightforward for both DIY users and professional installers.

Monitoring options when you need visibility

For system diagnostics and performance checks, real-time data can be viewed using compatible Victron accessories such as a VE.Direct to Bluetooth Low Energy dongle or a Colour Control panel. This makes it easier to verify charge stages, troubleshoot low harvest days and confirm the controller is operating as expected.

Key features

  • Ultra-fast MPPT to respond quickly to changing irradiance and cloud cover
  • Advanced tracking under partial shading to help locate the optimum power point
  • Fanless, high-efficiency design (maximum efficiency exceeds 98%)
  • Programmable charging with presets selectable via rotary switch
  • Integrated protections for temperature, polarity and PV fault conditions
  • Optional monitoring via VE.Direct accessories (Bluetooth dongle / control panel)

Build a smarter solar charging system

If you’re configuring a 12V, 24V or 48V solar battery system and want the flexibility of a higher-voltage array with Victron-grade MPPT control, this controller is a practical upgrade for mobile and fixed off-grid power. Select it for your next solar install to improve array design flexibility and maintain confident, consistent charging in the field.

Great characters!
Format: Paperback
A great story line that crosses over many different SW titles. I really enjoyed BT and 000 in Vader’s and Aphra’s titles, getting to see them in a great team like this is a real treat. With the Ewok TPB coming out soon, here’s hoping marvel continues making titles from the rich background characters of the world. And if there is a marvel exec out there, please give us a Jawa to follow!

Serious and Funny at the Same time
Format: Paperback
3-4 ABY This graphic novel is four issues and fills the reader in on events during a special Star Wars Crossover called Dark Droids, of which includes issues from Star Wars (2020), Doctor Aphra, Darth Vader, and Bounty Hunters. In D-Squad, R2-D2 is on a mission to find a way to save his friend, C-3PO, who has been taken over by the Spark Eternal. Apparently, droids are far easier to corrupt than organic life forms, and the Spark makes its way through many droids. Along the way, R2 finds a mis-matched crew of droids to help bring the Spark's scourge to an end. Ultimately seeking the help of Ajax Sigma, a droid from the High Republic era whose core is later found by Han and Chewbacca, and he is rebuilt in the age of the Empire. R2 believes Ajax's core and experience over various centuries might be enough to end the Spark's scourge. I love the art in this collection. One can't really go wrong with droids. We get some fan favorites from across the various series, as well as some new characters and old friends. The dialogue is, as you can imagine between beep-booping droids, quite top tier. Overall, it was a really fun edition and setup for the crossover.

Comic story is great, but actual comic arrived in terrible condition
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Book arrived bent and warped. Same package contained two comics but only this one was warped. The paperback covers are also a centimeter too short width wise on both front and back.

A disappointing "Dark Droids" tie-in.
Format: Paperback
A tie-in miniseries-of-sorts to the main “Dark Droids” event, “Star Wars: Dark Droids: D-Squad” is, unfortunately, all too characteristic of typical comic book event “addendums”: lots of flash, little substance. To be fair, writer Marc Guggenheim does what he can to flesh out the core story, which involves a squad of droids, all of whom are pulled from the various ongoing “Star Wars” titles – forming the titular “D-Squad” – to take on the Scourge threat from the main “Dark Droids” event. The problem is that too much of the series feels like it’s spinning in circles – there’s a frustrating lack of narrative momentum here, and the result is a story that, frustratingly, revs to life only in spurts. Not a terrible comic, but considering the overall quality of the “Dark Droids” event as a whole, a disappointing one.

Extremely Satisfied
This is a gift for my daughter and I looked at it making sure it works base on former reviews. At first the lid wouldn’t close and it was extremely disappointed but my husband laughed and said hold the lid and turn the handle. It then will latch and stay close. So now I’m extremely satisfied lol
