Enerdrive ePOWER 40A DC to DC Charger: Intelligent Dual-Input Power

The Enerdrive ePOWER DC2DC+ Battery Charger offers a streamlined, intelligent solution for managing auxiliary power in caravans, 4x4s, camper trailers, and marine vessels. By integrating a high-performance multi-stage DC to DC charger with a dedicated Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar controller, this unit eliminates the need for multiple separate charging devices and complex external relays. It is engineered to automatically prioritise and manage power from both your vehicle alternator and your solar array, ensuring your house battery bank remains optimally charged while operating off-grid.

Seamless Dual-Source Charging Integration

This advanced power management unit features two totally independent DC inputs. While the vehicle is running, the charger utilises the alternator to rapidly replenish your auxiliary battery. It is fully compatible with both 12V and 24V vehicle systems, making it suitable for a wide variety of touring and commercial vehicles. When the engine is turned off, the system automatically transitions to harvesting energy from your connected solar panels. This fully automatic selection process ensures a continuous and reliable charge without requiring any manual intervention from the user.

Integrated MPPT Solar Controller

The built-in MPPT regulator is highly capable, handling a maximum open-circuit solar input of 45V and up to 800W of total solar power. This high-efficiency tracking technology maximises your solar yield in varying light conditions, which is an essential feature for extended off-grid travel. By combining the solar regulator and the DC to DC charger into one compact footprint, you save valuable installation space while significantly reducing wiring complexity and potential failure points.

Advanced Multistage Charging for Deep Cycle Batteries

To protect your investment and maximise the lifespan of your deep cycle batteries, the Enerdrive 40A DCDC charger utilises a precise, multi-stage charging algorithm covering Bulk, Absorption, and Float stages. It supports a comprehensive range of battery chemistries, including GEL, AGM, Flooded, and Lithium. For specialised off-grid power systems, it also allows users to program a fully custom charging profile. The integrated, fully programmable LCD display provides vital real-time monitoring of charger status, active power source selection, voltage, and amperage.

Key Features

  • Dual independent DC inputs for automatic engine and solar charging
  • Integrated MPPT solar regulator supporting up to 45V/800W input
  • Selectable charging algorithms for GEL, AGM, Flooded, Lithium, and custom setups
  • Compatible with both 12V and 24V vehicle alternator systems
  • Robust M6 screw terminals for secure, high-current battery cable connections
  • Temperature sensor included for highly accurate, temperature-compensated charging
  • Thermo-controlled fan cooling to maintain peak 40A output in temperatures up to 40°C

Reliable Power Management for Australian Adventures

Designed to withstand demanding conditions, the unit includes sophisticated load-based regulation. This intelligent feature prevents the charger from incorrectly holding the battery in an absorption stage when DC loads, such as fridges or lighting, are active, thereby preventing overcharging and subsequent battery damage. Whether you are outfitting a touring 4x4 or upgrading a caravan electrical system, the EN3DC40+ delivers consistent, safe performance. The rugged housing and heavy-duty M6 terminal block ensure highly secure connections, effectively reducing the risk of voltage drop or loose wiring when navigating corrugated roads.

Ensure your auxiliary batteries are always primed and ready for the next adventure. Upgrade your onboard power system with the Enerdrive ePOWER DC2DC+ charger today to experience highly reliable, automated off-grid energy management.

Bruce Wayne: Not Super | Comic Review
Format: Paperback
I recently had the opportunity to check out Bruce Wayne: Not Super from DC Comics. The story is from Stuart Gibbs and the artwork is from Berat Pekmezci, and it is obviously about Batman. The middle-grade graphic novel follows a teenage Cape Crusader going to school with every other DC character. Heroes and villains all going to school together is a funny concept that I think is pulled off well here. What’s the joke about Batman? He’s just a rich kid with no powers, so what happens when he goes to a prep school with Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Arrow, etc.? Bruce has to come to grip with having no powers and how that affects his daily interactions with his classmates. Bruce’s alienation at being powerless directly conflicts with his goal of being a vigilante hero for Gotham City. His camaraderie with Dick Grayson (Robin) helps him work through his feelings on wanting to be Ferretman Batman. Aging adult characters down to young teens can come with their own difficulties, but I think Pekmezci nailed it. The artwork is very good throughout this book. It may not be everybody’s cup of tea, but I really dig these “Elseworlds” stories that place the heroes in completely weird situations. And, what’s weirder than a middle/high school full of super-powered kids! Clearly, I wasn’t the intended audience for this book, but I think those kids will have a great time reading this.

Fast read but well loved
Format: Paperback
I gave book 1 and 2 to my 9 year old and she read them both in 2 days and informed me when book 3 will be released. She said she liked the story, the characters had interesting names, and the graphics were exceptional.
