De PRS SE Ed Sheeran Hollowbody I Piezo Baritone in Orange Tiger Smokeburst is het resultaat van een samenwerking tussen PRS Guitars en een van de meest inventieve songwriters van dit moment. Dit is geen gewone signature-gitaar: het is een instrument dat speciaal is ontworpen voor muzikanten die verder willen gaan dan de standaard elektrische gitaar, op zoek naar nieuwe klankkleuren, lagere stemmingen en een rijker dynamisch bereik. De Orange Tiger Smokeburst-afwerking geeft hem een warm, organisch karakter dat doet denken aan de grote klassieke hollowbodies.

Het volledig holle mahonie-corpus met esdoorn top en center block geeft de gitaar een warme, resonante klank met gecontroleerde feedback. De verlengde mensuurlengte van 27,7 inch verhoogt de snarespanning en zorgt voor een heldere, gedefinieerde toon in lage stemmingen, ideaal voor wie experimenteert met alternatieve tunings of zwaardere riffs wil spelen.
