The Canon EF 24–105mm f/4L IS II USM is a full-frame standard zoom lens designed for the EF mount, covering a versatile 24–105mm focal range. It features a constant f/4 maximum aperture, ensuring stable exposure across the zoom range. The optical construction includes 17 elements in 12 groups, incorporating four aspherical elements to minimize distortion and maintain edge-to-edge sharpness. A Super Spectra coating reduces flare and ghosting.
The lens is equipped with a ring-type USM (Ultrasonic Motor) for fast, precise autofocus with full-time manual override. The integrated Image Stabilizer (IS) provides up to 4 stops of compensation, enhancing handheld performance. Its rounded 10-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth background rendering. Built to L-series standards, it features weather sealing and a robust construction, with a 77mm filter thread and a minimum focusing distance of 0.45m.

Easy read

I’m an NP student, and I find this book easier to read than the one recommended in school. The school-recommended book is almost $300, which is much cheaper. This book is a better read that breaks down complex concepts in a way that’s easy to understand. It should be used alongside NP books to help you understand your scope of practice. The book is written by an MD, which is a huge asset in terms of knowledge. The digital version includes the code, but I haven’t tried it yet. .

Excellent resource, as always from Dr Ferri. Well worth its generous weight to use a resource other than UptoDate once in a while. Besides, for us medical providers who have been in the calling many years, Ferri's Clinical Advisor 2026 is better at maintaining ones arm strength than lifting an iphone, plus safer and more accurate than the use of AI;)
