The Carl Zeiss Planar T 50mm f/1.4 ZE* is a standard prime lens designed for Canon EF-mount full-frame and APS-C cameras, built with manual focus precision and high optical consistency. It employs the classic Planar optical formula, consisting of 7 elements in 6 groups, optimized for natural rendering, high microcontrast, and edge-to-edge sharpness.
The maximum aperture of f/1.4 allows strong subject isolation and consistent optical performance across a broad range of lighting conditions. The nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a smooth, circular bokeh, supporting a natural transition between in-focus and out-of-focus areas.
All optical surfaces feature the Zeiss T anti-reflective coating*, which enhances transmission and minimizes internal reflections for improved color neutrality and contrast.
The mechanical construction is fully metal, ensuring durability and precise manual focusing with a 270° focus throw. The minimum focusing distance is 0.45 m, and the filter thread measures 58 mm.
Designed for high-resolution sensors, the Planar 50mm f/1.4 ZE delivers consistent image geometry, tonal depth, and color accuracy, making it a technically refined lens for both photographic and cinematic applications.

Right oil for my bmw
It has worked great for me for the BMW X5. The price is great. I am purchasing these for a few years now I know every Bmw needs to have one Handy in the car just in case the signal comes to add more oil. I am very happy with this product.

BMW Branded Oil
The is Genuine BMW branded oil that I use to top off my oil changes for 5 litters. Definitely a little pricy, but it is BMW branded. I'm sure there are products that are comparable at a lower price point.
