Wine has been being produced around the Castle Gobelsburg in Austria for over 1000 years.  In more recent times, a team led by Michael Moosobrugger and his wife Eva, took control of the Schloss Gobelsburg estate and winery in 1996 primarily because of the vineyards which are among the finest in all of Austria. On Friday, February 26th @ 7pm we are going to take a virtual trip to these vineyards by way of tasting wine from this estate w/ co-host Nick Bland from importer Skurnik Wines.  The base Schloss Gobelsburg Austrian Tasting Pack includes the 2019 Kamptal Gruner Veltliner and 2019 Kamptal Riesling.  You can purchase additional bottles including the stellar 2019 Cistercien Rose and the 2017 Zweigelt, the only red wine of group, which will also be discussed that evening.

After purchasing your tasting pack, you will receive another email with Zoom connections instructions.  This event is limited to 40 participants so get your tasting pack before they sell out. Cheers!

It gives insight into what each section of the test is looking for along with examples and great tips about actually TAKING the test.
