2014 collaboration between Electronica artists Displacer (AKA Michael Morton) and Nimon (AKA Keef Baker). The fusion of both projects and the respective DNA of these two highly skilled performers is what you experience on HOUSE OF THE DYING SUN. On this release, a range of ingredients melt together to form a fascinating sonic palette: solid, interlaced patches of percussion and elaborate basslines build the foundation for epic layers of deep ambience, swimming with deep walls of elegiac electrified strings warped from guitars and perfected with the addition of live double bass, electric organ and even disturbing bits of noise. The sound spectrum ranges from ruminant Krautrock influences to spherical down-tempo patterns and contemporary intelligent dance music forming an aural landscape of different emotions. With this release, Displacer and Nimon are crossing boundaries while observing their very own standard, presenting a warm, relaxing opus with embedded waves of mild turbulence.

Solid Watch 2 Months In TLDR, would buy again

Solid watch so far with a readable face and a comfortable strap. My previous watch was a G-shock DW5600. I chose this for the lap feature and generally liked the appearance.
Things I didn’t love:
1) the chronograph displays the mode at the top. I know what mode it’s in, it would be better to have the actual time.
2) this has dual time zones, it’s apparently easy to flip to the second time zone without realizing. I have mine set to US eastern and US central (a one hour difference which begs the question why, and I hear you). But I almost missed 2 events not realizing my wristwatch had jumped back an hour while playing with my kids in the park.
3) I’m still playing with the count down timer function. I messed something up on my first run, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out. Just something didn’t work intuitively.
4) I didn’t realize how often I had used the indigo equivalent feature on my Gshock as a flash light in low light situations. With the black face this isn’t an option on this watch (I’d still make this trade for the aesthetic).
I would buy again just for something fresh after 5+ years with the G-Shock and the lap feature. Probably a little hyper critical focused on the short comings. Water resistance has been tested an no issues after two months.

Dont buy

Worst IM watch. Cant read screen, battery only lasted 4 months, go to "try" and change battery screws to the back are special screws cant change battery. Timex should issie everyone who bought junk watch a refund!

Its ok

Its a nice watch but the band feels a little cheap the adjustment tool broke on me but overall nice looking watch for the money
UPDATE: they are giving me a watch of my choice instead of a refund i really love this watch it looks amazing iv been getting compliments left and right 5/5 star's would buy again
