Elizabeth Le Fey, Globelamp, wrote The Orange Glow "as a reflection of the last year and a half and how I got out of it alive. " With a voice that can be either ethereal or savage, shimmery as California sunshine through the leaves of redwoods, or dark as a Washington rainstorm, but always haunting, Globelamp sings of loss, longing, survival and the enchantments of nature. Her mother exposed her to '80's glam rock and Globelamp began to play the piano at the age of four, though it was not until her 20's that she shared her music with the world as part of the punk band Meowtain in Olympia, and later as the White Witch of Foxygen. After this, she took off on her own to write, produce and record her solo debut Star Dust and to tour the country as an "artist/traveler. " Globelamp's voice has been compared to the likes of Stevie Nicks, Grace Slick, Kate Bush and Donovan, (I hear echoes of my personal favorites Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, Tori Amos and Exene Cervenka) and one can recognize the influence of the supernatural, fairy tales, nursery rhymes, psychedelic folk music and punk, but her sound is distinctly her own.

Not durable for a large breed

I received this toy about 2hrs ago. My dog tore a hole in it already. Not made for Rottweiler/American Bulldog breed, apparently. 🙂
Love that there isn't stuffing though, at least she's not making a mess, lol!

My dog loves it.

I thought I was going to have to return this dog toy because my dog was afraid of the toy, especially the squeaker. But after a while, he finally did start playing with it and now he won’t let the other dogs touch his frog. It’s so bad that if they do touch it, he rips it out or their mouth, jumps up into a chair, and lays on top of it so they can’t get it. He still doesn’t like the squeaker if it’s down in front of him, but if I’m in another room, the squeaker makes him come running. He loves the squirrel I got him too. But the material of the frog seems really durable.
The part I like the most of that it’s like a puppet and you can stick your hand in it or an empty bottle of water and then Velcro it shut. If your dog doesn’t like the squeaker, there is a pouch in the mouth of the frog that you can access through this velcroed area and cut it out.
Definitely a must have if you have a tough chewer.

Don't waste your money!

Do NOT buy unless you like throwing away your money! This Ethical Pets 54093 Skinneeez Frog seemed like a great dog toy, but my Malti Poo destroyed it within TEN minutes! He actually ate the material and half of the squeaker before I found the other half. Guess we’ll be seeing that outside in a few days! This toy is listed as “Durable Dog Toy”, but it is NOT. I’ve got dog toys from the dollar store that lasted for months! We will not be buying nor recommending this product again. Don’t waste your money!

Great toy

My girl loves this toy. She has a lot of toys but this is her favorite. She is a 26 lb mini golden and we have had it over a year. It is just now starting to show wear. Once it is completely worn out I will buy it again!
