PMM Range Of Double Basses:
all our basses are fitted with performance grade strings and are set up by professional luthier ready to play.
We have the largest range of new double bass instruments in New Zealand set up ready to play and compare in our showroom.
Buyer beware, most other musical instrument retailers in New Zealand do not set up the double bass ready to play and do not fit high grade strings (strings alone are worth $400.00+!)
By contrast all our instruments have had extensive work done on them by our luthiers to ensure they are ready to play, we adjust and correctly fit sound post, plane finger board, adjust nut and plane and adjust bridge heights and feet. Finally we fit good quality strings. All this amounts to hundreds of $ per instrument
