Formed in 2008, Blindness features Beth Rettig (vocals, programming, noise), Emma Quick (bass, noise), and Debbie Smith (guitar, feedback, noise), the latter being guitarist for ‘90s bands Curve and Echobelly and, later, Snowpony. Taking sonic tips from The Jesus and Mary Chain as well as My Bloody Valentine and with the hook sensibility of PJ Harvey, Blindness are a band with a machine gun etiquette, showing "exquisite warmth" in their "seductive dark wave electro pop." The songs on the album Wrapped In Plasti' on Saint Marie Records will take you on an adrenaline fuelled, rollercoaster ride of beautiful chaos.

Very easy to put up and assemble!

We were looking for a nice shelf over our coffee bar, and this industrial pipe shelf was perfect! This was very easy to assemble! Simply put in your anchors and screw in the bases! We ordered the three tier shelf but only needed two, and it was very easy to make that adjustment! I loved that this was solid wood shelving rather than particle board.

beautiful and sturdy

The shelf is beautiful and sturdy. The only small complaint are the instructions to put it together are deceiving because pieces were put together for shipping purposes (we assume) but didn't actually go together which took us a few times to figure out. I recommend putting it together off the wall before trying it on the wall so you know what pieces go where.

Cheaply made

I would not recommend this shelf. There are no instructions included - just a simple drawing of putting it together but nowhere says what drill bit size to use for the plastic anchors which are square on the end and not round. In addition, you cannot fully tighten the iron brackets or they won’t alight on the wall to hang the shelf. Each piece of metal piping has part of the black coating stripped off as well. And on top of that, the bottom of each shelf is unfinished and looks as though they used a filler to hide holes in the shelf. Not worth the money or the hassle.
