Exploring the balances between pop song writing structures, '80s cold wave bedroom style electronic production, and dreary gloom rock, Paris-based Dissemblance presents her debut LP Over The Sand for Mannequin Records. Over ten tracks, Dissemblance treads the fringes of a blurred dream world, using her bass guitar, voice, and drum machine as the backbone to create haunting yet soothing pop atmospheres in her songs. The opener "Transfuge" maintains a focus on the bass guitar, while a sparse rhythm box and monotone vocal fuel unbreakable tension. "Rescue" continues centered around the bass playing, this time with more almost upbeat surf rock pop sensibility driving the track. The closer, "A Ride", takes shape with Boss DR-55 clicks, solemn, floating vocals, and a subtle bassline reminding us of some of Lifetones' finer moments. A welcome new addition to the Mannequin catalog, Over The Sand will appeal to fans of gloom-tinged electronic pop and even to optimistic goths around the globe. These are quality materials!
The design and materials are above average. They fit great and are so comfortable. I have nerve damage and need open toes. These work perfectly. The colors are cute and did not fade upon washing. I will definitely order more, now that I’ve received my “trial” set. lol

The best freetoes socks ever

Love this toeless socks so much! I could wear it all day. Very comfortable! It is just the right thickness which is suitable in summer time or cold weather as well. Most of the toeless socks I have seen have the gel on the heel area and I don't like the feel of it. I'd rather apply lotion on my heel then wear the socks.
I have had some issues with the packaging from Amazon and I made the maker of this said socks aware of it. Julia Bebben was very prompt in her response and very helpful. Thank you Julia for your excellent customer service.

great concept, just one tiny annoyance...

i love that a sock that lets your toes be free is even a thing that exists. i love that this company was started by a young girl, now turned young businesswoman.
i have pain in my big toes, so i can't wear close toed anything, but feet get stinky if you wear shoes/slippers all the time without socks. this is a great solution.
the only thing i find slightly annoying (not enough to stop using these) is the seam on the bottom of your foot, near the base of the toes. it is a straight line, which is fine on the top of the foot, but i wish the bottom itself curved a bit, to follow the line of the toes. as it is, the seam lands right in the middle if the ball of my feet, so i can feel the seams everytime i take a step. i am constantly pulling the seam toward the toes, to try to keep from feeling it, but then my pinky toe gets caught and balled up on the inside.
outside of that slight annoyance, they're comfortable and fit well.
