The Salice Tilt Down is a compact flap door system for downward-opening wooden doors. This version is designed for external side panel assembly with cover, making it ideal where a simple surface-mounted installation is required while still giving a clean, finished appearance.

This model is suitable for thicker wooden doors from 22mm to 30mm. For this door thickness range, the system requires a 20mm machining depth on the door. Tilt Down provides a controlled 90° opening, with both decelerated opening and decelerated closing for smooth and reliable movement.

With a compact mechanism thickness of only 12mm, or 13.5mm with the cover fitted, Tilt Down is ideal for modern cabinet designs where neat appearance, controlled movement and precise adjustment are required.

Technical Information

The Salice Tilt Down system is suitable for wooden flap doors with downward opening and side panel fixing. It can be used with external, recessed or flush recessed applications. This listing is for the external assembly with cover version, for thicker doors from 22mm to 30mm.

For this door thickness range, the required machining depth on the door is 20mm. The system opens to 90° and features adjustable, decelerated opening and closing movement. Salice lists the Tilt Down as available for both 18–22mm and 22–30mm door thicknesses, with the thicker door version using the 20mm machining depth.
