In the past, children’s clay whistles were more than simple toys — they held spiritual meaning. In Ukrainian folk tradition, they were believed to protect children, with the sound of the whistle thought to ward off negative energy.

These beliefs became the foundation of our inspiration. The Horse design is inspired by a historical artifact — a horse-shaped clay whistle from the exhibition “Kyiv’s Talisman” at the Museum of the History of Kyiv. Discovered in the Podil district in 1993, the original piece is over 500 years old.
