Located from 1979 to 1997 near the heart of Orange County’s fabulous beaches, BG Wrestling largely ignored a treasure trove of Muscle Hunks: Surfers. They come from everywhere to take part in world-class contests or simply to surf. Many stay, attracted by the beaches, the excellent surf, the temperate weather, and many other opportunities to make money and take part in various sports activities. There is the surf, even winter snow skiing a bare 90 minutes away. Some guys do male strip dancing to make money, as do many who appear in this video. One of the wrestlers, Bobby Green, from Sweden, liked it so much, he stayed.

BOUT 1: JUNGLE STUD VS. RICHARD STONE

At 5’10”, 218 lbs, Richard Stone is a big boy. But the Jungle Stud is more than capable of taking care of big boys, so while Richard is able to use his weight to his advantage several times, including back the Stud into the wall and pounding on his stomach, the advantages are short lived. The Stud manages some nice reversals including the one where he is trapped in a full nelson. He kicks backwards, right into Stone’s balls. The wrestlers split the first two falls. The Jungle Stud opens the third fall with a determination to make sure Stone goes down. Picking up a guy like Stone and slamming him to the mat is no easy task, but the Stud manages to do it. As Stone did to Stud in the 2nd fall (pretty much a squash), the Stud does to Stone in the 3rd fall. Stone never manages to lay a finger on the Jungle Stud in this fall. Everything the Jungle Stud does in this fall leads to the setup “Stud Sleeper”. The big, brawny, muscular Richard Stone passes out.

BOUT 2: BOBBY GREEN VS. TOUGH TONY

Bobby: 5’11”, 180 lbs, blond hair, green eyes, 23 yo

Tony: 5’9”, 175 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes, 26 yo

In the first fall, Bobby tires hard to keep up with Tough Tony’s tactics, but falls short. Tony lays on a heavy full nelson, marching Bobby around the room, throwing the fading SurferHunk to the mat. As Bobby attempts to rise, Tony pounces, bringing his arms up behind his back, straight up. Bobby submits to a nasty surfboard. A side headlock, arm bar, a big body slam and an arm stretch have Bobby Green off and running in the second fall. He’s determined not to be a squash job. The sweat is pouring off the grapplers (sometimes leading to slippin’ and slidin’ on the mat) as they evenly grapple towards a 2nd fall conclusion. Bobby bashes Tony’s head into the wall, gets him into a camel clutch, and gets a submission from Tough Tony. A test of strength leads to Bobby being back into the wall and knee lifted. From that point on Bobby is beat on. He’s scissored, body slammed and back broken. In fact it is this over the knee backbreaker that gets his submission. It’s a 3rd fall squash. Bobby is beaten!

BOUT 3: DENNIS RIKER VS. JOHNNY KAGE

Dennis: 6’1”, 185 lbs, Brown hair, Brown eyes, 27 yo

Johnny: 6’1”, 195 lbs., Brown hair, Green eyes, 29 yo

In the opening minutes of the first fall Kage suckers Riker with stomach punch. And except for one brief moment when Riker has Kage in an arm stretch, he’s treated like a beat-up toy in the first fall. An over the knee backbreaker finishes him off. Riker continues the “beat-up toy” syndrome in the second fall, but does eventually manage a comeback starting with a tough body scissors – draining some strength from Kage with his strong legs. A off the mat spinning full nelson has Kage submitting. A side headlock and neck scissors leave Dennis pretty much in the driver’s seat as the third fall commences. But a teeth chomp into Riker’s leg, a fireman’s carry and a whirlwind spin leaves Riker weakened. He’s backed into the wall and hip tossed. From there it is all Kage. A surfboard doesn’t get a Riker submission, but a camel clutch does.

BOUT 4: PATRICK AUGUST VS. PHIL SINGER

Patrick: 6’3”, 210 lbs, blond hair, blue eyes, 27 yo

Phil: 6’, 180 lbs, blond hair, green eyes, 22 yo

These guys are brothers. As a result they bring a special energy to this match. This highly energetic wrestling cannot be sustained. Nonetheless the brothers go at it with a kind of “kids in a sandbox” exuberance. It’s highly entertaining. Both of them are terrific lookers and they enjoy what they are doing. Both are surfers, skiers and male strippers.

Quality product, the double netting is great compared to single
Size: Doube Layer
It is a double net. It holds items down and is really stretchy which is great. Feels strong and has multiple carabiners/loops to tie down whatever you are hauling.

Compact, stretches over loads, wish it had a bag.
Size: Doube Layer
I am giving the double layer netted version of this product, for my uses, a 5 star, though there are two negatives to consider up front. 1. There is no storage bag included. 2. And the 6 caribeaners included are too cheezie to trust. Yes, the caribeaners will hold the net, and I assume your heavy loads will be strapped down before netting it. So I did install them in the straps just because. Bur I'll be putting the thick straps around the edge over bed hooks. I can't speak on how the single layer net would work, but you really will think after getting the double layer, that was the right choice. The mesh is tightly made and should hold even the messiness bag of trash in your truck bed from blowing out if you get the double layer. When you stretch the net out, it does act like a membrane, so you need several hooks around your bed or trailer. It stretched tightly around 5.5 x 7.5 1975 Datson pickup bed trailer. As you remember these beds have hooks all the way around and a curled lip surrounding the top. So this is perfect for full edge coverage. But if you have few hooks, the net will pull inward between the points lile a membrane would. If you need a stiff heavy duty throw over style net, this is not it. After hooked down, there is a great amount of stretch to cover good sized loads. This net is also excellent for containing a tarp covered load, keeping the tarp from coming loose and flapping around in the wind which is always a challenge on long trips. Also it will help contain brush and trash so that ENCON won't ticket you for uncovered loads. Light weight, easy to use, and it should hold up well for the price. Use one of those left over Ryobe tool bags you have laying around, and some better dollar-store caribeaners, and you'll be ser!
