Funktionsweise:

Die Bedienung des Tempomat-Geschwindigkeitsstabilisators ist denkbar einfach und intuitiv. Um die gewünschte Geschwindigkeit zu fixieren, wird der Reibungsnuss während des Beschleunigens zwischen kleinem Finger und Handfläche eingeklemmt, was ausreichend Reibung erzeugt, um den Gasgriff in der gewählten Position zu halten. Trotz der Fixierung ist eine weitere Anpassung der Geschwindigkeit möglich, da der Mechanismus nur einen leichten Widerstand gegen die Drehbewegung bietet.

Um die Fixierung zu lösen, wird der Reibungsnuss erneut zwischen kleinem Finger und Handfläche eingeklemmt, während man den Gasgriff loslässt. Der Gasgriff sollte dann frei beweglich sein und problemlos in die Ausgangsposition zurückkehren.
